　　“If I had known this, I would have brought the shows to Thailand,” Srettha was quoted as saying in the Bangkok Post. “Concerts cangenerateadded value for the economy.”

　　賽塔說，泰國愿意給泰勒·斯威夫特提供至少5億泰銖（約人民幣1億元）的補(bǔ)貼。

　　在菲律賓，有議員批評新加坡此舉“不是好鄰居該做的事”，并呼吁對撥款提出正式抗議。

　　3月5日，正在澳大利亞訪問的新加坡總理李顯龍對此事進(jìn)行了回應(yīng)，認(rèn)為不存在對鄰國“不友好”的事。

　　Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong responded to the criticism on Tuesday, saying Singapore was not being “unfriendly” to its neighbors by making a deal with the superstar.

　　李顯龍于5日回應(yīng)了批評，表示新加坡與斯威夫特的協(xié)議并沒有對鄰國“不友好”。

　　李顯龍表示，新加坡政府從發(fā)展后新冠疫情時(shí)期旅游業(yè)的資金中撥款，為泰勒·斯威夫特演出提供津貼，并與對方達(dá)成協(xié)議。

　　“這是一項(xiàng)成功的安排。我不認(rèn)為這么做不友善。有時(shí)某個(gè)國家談成協(xié)議，有時(shí)是另一個(gè)國家。我們不會明擺著說，‘你能在這里演出的條件是你接著去其他地方演出’?！崩铒@龍說。

　　“[Our] agenciesnegotiatedan arrangement with her to come to Singapore and perform and to make Singapore her only stop in Southeast Asia,” Lee said at a press conference in Melbourne while on a state visit to Australia.

　　“Certainincentiveswere provided to her, and a deal was reached. It has turned out to be a very successful arrangement. I don’t see that as being unfriendly.”

　　“If we had not made such an arrangement, would she have come to more places in Southeast Asia? Maybe, maybe not?” he added.

　　泰勒·斯威夫特是美國現(xiàn)象級歌手，迄今為止她已獲得14座格萊美獎(jiǎng)、34項(xiàng)全美音樂獎(jiǎng)和29項(xiàng)公告牌音樂獎(jiǎng)。她拉動(dòng)消費(fèi)的能力在美國之外同樣有效。
